Brighten Up Your Exterior
A clean exterior makes a great impression on those who enter your facility. It also prevents the infestation of mold and bacteria. Thoroughly cleaning every surface of your building to remove dirt, grime, mold, and mildew might seem like a daunting task. Fortunately, pressure washing makes it possible to efficiently clean your facility's exterior, saving time and energy while reducing the need for someone to climb up and manually scrub something for hours.
Most commercial and industrial enterprises require pressure washing services for one reason or another. Pressure washing is one of The Budd Group's many commercial cleaning offerings. We serve all industries.
Proper technique is a major concern regarding safe and effective pressure washing. Those without experience with a particular pressure washing device can put themselves, their property, and their people in harm's way. This is why partnering with exterior cleaning experts like The Budd Group is crucial to get the job done.
How Pressure Washing Works
Cleaning properly requires water, a cleaning solution, and an adequate amount of force. The more pressure and energy that is generated, the faster the dirt and other unwanted particles loosen up.
With the help of an engine, a pressure washer compresses air and pumps water through a nozzle to release a jet of water and cleaning solution at high speeds. This increased amount of pressure allows the stream to reach long distances and deeply clean the targeted surfaces
Applications for Pressure Washing
Pressure washers are used in many ways on several types of surfaces. Some of the most common applications for pressure washing include:
- Parking lot cleaning
- Sidewalk or driveway cleaning
- Window washing
- Exterior cleaning
- Roof and gutter cleaning
- Interior and exterior industrial machinery cleaning services
Garage floor cleaning
Pressure washing is also an important prerequisite step for exterior painting. Fresh paint adheres much better to a surface that has been thoroughly cleaned and prepped in other ways. We provide our pressure washing services and other commercial cleaning solutions to these types of facilities:
- Athletic stadiums and facilities
- Biomedical and other cleanroom facilities
- Churches and other religious organizations
- Commercial offices and office parks
- Computer centers
- Corporate headquarters and facilities
- Government buildings and facilities
- HOA, apartment complexes, and condo developments
- Hospitals and other medical facilities and campuses
- Hotels and hospitality
- Manufacturing plants and facilities
- Primary and secondary schools and universities
- Retail centers
- ...and more!
Let The Budd Group make your facility safer, cleaner, and as beautiful as it can be.
Is Pressure Washing the Same as Power Washing?
The terms "pressure washing" and "power washing" are usually used interchangeably. Technically, pressure washing only refers to cleaning via pressurized water, whereas power washing refers to a heating component on top of pressurized water.
How Does Pressure Washing Work?
With the help of an engine, a pressure washer compresses air and pumps water through a nozzle to release a jet of water and cleaning solution at high speeds. This high amount of pressure allows the stream to reach long distances and deeply clean the targeted surfaces. In some cases, heat is added to the system to increase cleaning efficiency (power washing).
Is Pressure Washing the Best Way to Clean Surfaces?
Though pressure washing offers one of the most efficient cleaning methods, it's not always the best cleaning solution. Some materials and features are at higher risk of damage from pressure washing and should instead be cleaned by hand or otherwise gentler means. When properly performed, pressure washing is optimal for cleaning durable surfaces at a particular distance.
