Indeed, improving your indoor air quality (IAQ) will reduce the amount of pollutants in the air (i.e., dust, pollen, germs), many of which eventually land on floors, furniture, and other surfaces and/or otherwise enter one’s lungs. You can increase your IAQ by periodically inspecting and cleaning your HVAC system components, changing out air filters as recommended by the manufacturer, allowing fresh air in by opening doors and windows, placing plant life in common areas, and more.
