No matter what time of year, The Budd Group understands the importance of giving back to the community. Sometimes that community entails a larger scope, like helping children across the globe. We have teamed up with Samaritan's Purse, and especially during this time of year hope to reflect this spirit of doing extra good work in our day-to-day operations.

Samaritan’s Purse brings gifts in shoeboxes through their charity event Operation Christmas Child to the most remote areas of the world. They bring happiness to children while also teaching them about Jesus Christ and His good work.

We are excited to share that The Budd Group supports this organization by setting up collection areas at each of your branch locations. Upon collection of these items, we will aid the transport of these gifts to the charity, Samaritan’s Purse so that children in areas most affected by war, poverty, natural disasters, disease, and famine receive them by Christmas.

How Can I Get Involved?

Stop by any of The Budd Group’s branches and drop the box off at the collection area to see a list of gift suggestions, or click here. Donations will be collected until November 15.

When you’re ready:

• Start with a shoebox-sized box.
• Decide what age group you’re packing for.
• Go to a store where you’ll find items for children, or shop online.
• Start with a ‘Wow’ item: something the child (depending on age group) will love playing with and only have the opportunity to do so because of your kindness.
• Then fill the box with other items, such as clothes, school supplies, and various other toys.
• Then you’ll make your shipping donation and get your shipping label.

Items that are not able to be shipped or used for this specific cause include:

• Toy weapons
• Toothpaste
• Gum
• Liquids
